Industries Minister calls upon High Commissioner of India at Singapore

Industries and Technical Education Minister Bikram Singh called upon High Commissioner of India at Singapore, Jawed Ashraf.  Industries Minister discussed the skill development programmes in Himachal Pradesh and apprised him about the workshop organised at Institute of Technical Education (ITE) of Singapore.

Bikram Singh discussed the various steps being taken by the Himachal Pradesh government for the skill development of the youth. He also discussed about various opportunities to start businesses and establish different industrial units in the state for investors.

He also apprised High Commissioner about the first Global Investors’ Meet which was recently organized on 7th and 8th November, 2019 at Dharamshala in the State.

High Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the Himachal Pradesh government towards public welfare and development of various sectors including industries.

Earlier, Industries Minister presented Himachali cap, shawl and Kangra Tea to High Commissioner. 

Managing Director Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) Rohan Chand Thakur, State Coordinator HPKVN, Naveen Sharma and MLA Sundernagar Rakesh Jamwal were also present on the occasion.
