The State government will bear the entire cost of treatment of 18 years old Meenakshi Thakur, who belongs to Bijhari area of district Hamirpur. She is suffering from a serious illness. Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed district administration to take necessary action in this regard.
Meenakshi Thakur along with her mother today met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Circuit House, Hamirpur and apprised him that she is suffering from serious illness and is undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh. She told that her family is not in a position to bear the expenses on the treatment.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu directed the district administration to take necessary steps to help Meenakshi. He said that total expenditure of her treatment would be incurred by the State government.
The Chief Minister gives highest priority to social concern along with human sensibilities. Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has taken many ambitious decisions for the weaker sections of the society after assuming the office of the Chief Minister. He is continuously preparing such schemes and programs which can empower the needy person
