Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented 50 oxygen concentrators by Chairman CPAB, Sant Nirankari Mandal Sardar Sukh Dev Singh on behalf of Sant Nirankari Mandal here today.
Chief Minister thanked the Sant Nirankari Mandal for this philanthropic act and said that this assistance would go a long way in providing better health care facilities to the Covid-19 patients. He said that Himachal Pradesh has suffered due to the impact of second wave of Covid-19 and organizations like Sant Nirankari Mandal were providing commendable services by helping the suffering humanity besides motivating several others.
Jai Ram Thakur also thanked the Sant Nirankari Mandal for setting up 25 bedded Covid care facility at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Nalagarh in Solan district. He said that another 25 bedded Covid care facility would also be created by the Mandal at their Satsang Bhawan at Kangra which would facilitate the Covid patients of the area.
Chairman CPAB, Sant Nirankari Mandal Sardar Sukh Dev Singh apprised the Chief Minister that Sant Nirankari Mandal was also contributing 500 oximeters for the State which would be handed over to the State within a day. He said that both the 25 bedded Covid care centres would be made functional by early next week.
Chief Secretary Anil Khachi, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Prabodh Saxena, Regional Convener Sant Nirankari Mandal Karnail Singh, local coordinators NPS Bhullar and R.S. Bhullar were also present on the occasion.
