Chief Minister said that this would benefit the people of the State, students as well as the government employees to provide them best boarding and lodging facilities in the national capital. He said that the State Government has vigorously taken up the issue with the concerned authorities in an effective manner and now the State Government would soon construct State Guest House at New Delhi on this land.

Chief Minister said that this was the result of the consistent efforts made by State government for expansion of government assets in different locations in order to provide facilities to the people of Himachal Pradesh. The construction of new State Guest House will enhance the capacity of accommodation in national capital New Delhi and people of the State will be benefitted after construction of the said Guest House.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the allotment of land for State Guest House would prove beneficial for the people of the State while visiting New Delhi.
