Industries Minister calls on Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports

Industries, Transport, Labour and Employment Minister Bikram Singh called on Union Minister of Youth Affair and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur at New Delhi, today.

Industries Minister urged the Union Minister to approve the proposal of state government for construction of indoor stadium at village Pragpur in District Kangra to create conducive sports environment for the sportspersons of the area.  He apprised the Union Minister that new HRTC depot has been opened in Sansarpur Tarrace in District Kangra but due to insufficient land the construction of HRTC depot has not started.  He urged the Union Minister to take up the matter of requisite land transfer to HRTC for construction of HRTC building and bus stand of HRTC Depot at Sansarpur Tarrace in District Kangra with the concerned Ministry.

Bikram Singh also urged Anurag Singh Thakur to take up the matter of sanctioning and opening of Kendriya Vidhyalaya in Jaswan Pragpur Constituency with the concerned Ministry.

Union Minister assured the Industries Minister to provide every possible support.
