 Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have greeted the people of the state especially Sikh brethren on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In his felicitation message, the Governor said that Guru Nanak Ji is the first Sikh Guru and his birth anniversary is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. He said that Guru Nanak Ji taught the message of one God who dwells in every one of his creations and constitutes the eternal truth.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji illuminated the world with his teachings and taught the lesson of humanity. He said we should follow his teachings for an enriched and peaceful life.
