Governor and Chief Minister greet people on Deepawali

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali.

In his message, Governor said that Deepawali is the festival of lights, which symbolises joy and happiness and light over darkness.

He hoped that the festival brings joy and happiness into the lives of the people of the State. 

Chief Minister while extending Deepawali greetings to the people on the occasion has expressed hope that Deepawali would shower enlightenment on the people of the State and would bring prosperity to them besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Deepawali was one of the major festivals of country and people of all regions and religions celebrate it with joy and fervour. He also advised people to celebrate the festival in traditional manner and keeping the coronavirus situation into consideration, he urged the people to use face masks, maintain social distancing and follow the SOPs of the Government.
