A delegation of Himachal Pradesh Vyapar Mandal headed by its President Sumesh Kumar Sharma called on the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today and apprised him about various demands of the Vyapar Mandal.
Chief Minister said that the State Government was sentient of the hardships and difficulty that the business community was facing due to the corona curfew implemented in the State. He said that decision to impose Corona curfew in entire State till 31st of this month was taken by the State Government in the larger interest of the State and its people, in wake of sharp surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in the State.
Jai Ram Thakur said that since fortunately the State has witnessed considerable decline in number of Covid-19 cases during the last few days, the State Government may consider going for gradual and phased unlock after 31st of this month, provided there was a sharp decline in the new cases.
The Chief Minister also thanked the members of Vyapar Mandal for their wholehearted support to the State Government in the fight against the Corona virus.
General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Vyapar Mandal Rakesh Kailash, Rajesh Mahindroo, Mahapal Sarpal, Suresh Bajaj, Kushal Jain, Anuj Gupta, Param Kaushal, Surender, Vishal Mohan, Sufal Sood, Rajesh Khanna, Sachin Sharma, Ajay Thakur and Hemant were present on the occasion.
