CS reviews progress for setting up of CGD, Ethanol plants and projects in State

State Government would provide every possible assistance to Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for setting up of City Gas Distribution (CGD), Ethanol plants and projects in the state. This was said by Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh during a virtual meeting with Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Tarun Kapoor, here today.

During the meeting discussion on setting up of 125 KLPD 1G Ethanol plant at Jeetpur Bahedi Industrial Area and City Gate Station (CGS) cum Mother Station in District Una. Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of work for setting up of CGD, Ethanol plants and projects in the state and directed the authorities to bring pace in work to ensure its timely completion. He asked the concerned authorities to identify suitable land for establishing Rail Fed Depot in the state.

Chief Secretary said the matter of clearance for land to set up Ethanol plant in district Una would be provided in the single window clearance meeting. He asked the concerned authorities to speed up the work of laying of industrial gas pipe line within stipulated time period.  

Representatives of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil-Adani Gas Private Limited and Bharat Gas Resources Limited were also present in the meeting.
