Convenor International Yoga calls on Governor

Shimla, July – Convenor International Yoga Ranjit Singh along with yoga players of Trigart Divya Yog Ashram called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan, today.

Ranjit Singh briefed about the activities of the Ashram regarding yoga practice for the students and achievements of the students at International level.

The Governor appreciated and congratulated all yoga players of their achievements particularly, 13 years old Aahana Kaushal, who created history by making 10 world records in yoga in a day on 15th June 2020. He said that yoga was the way to live a successful life by making the mind, intellect and body healthy and added that it was an integral part of our lifestyle and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given international identity to this rich ancient Indian culture.

He said that yoga practice was more useful during this corona period and it is helpful in increasing the immunity. He stressed in promoting yoga more in schools.
