Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari was accorded rousing reception on his arrival at Bhuntar airport in Kullu district today by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.

The Union Minister would virtually inaugurate and lay foundation stones of road projects worth Rs. 6155 crores for the State from Manali on Thursday.

Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur, MLAs Kishori Lal Sagar and Surinder Shourie, former MP Maheshwar Singh, State BJP Vice-President Dhaneshwari Thakur, Vice-Chairman HPMC Ram Singh, District BJP President Bhim Sain, Additional Chief Secretaries Ram Subhag Singh and J.C. Sharma, Principal Secretary PWD Subhashish Panda, DC Kullu Richa Verma and SP Gaurav Singh were present on the occasion.
