Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur released the Booklet “Giving Life After Death-The Heroes of Himachal Pradesh” on the occasion of Organ Donation Day here today.
CM appreciated the efforts of the author in bringing out this booklet and expressed hope that more and more people would come forward in donating their organs for the benefit of the suffering humanity.
The book has been authored by Associate Professor Surgery Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College Tanda Dr. Rakesh Chauhan and Professor and Head Department of Renal Transplant Surgery PGI, Chandigarh Dr. Ashish Sharma.
Information Technology Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda and Director Medical Education Dr. Rajneesh Pathania were also present on the occasion.
