Announces Atal Adarsh Vidhalaya at Lachori and PHC at village Bhalera
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated and laid foundation stone of developmental projects worth about Rs. 166 crore at Dalhousie for Dalhousie Vidhan Sabha Area of Chamba district.
While addressing a largely attended public meeting at Dalhousie, Chief Minister announced opening of Atal Adarsh Vidhalaya at Lachori, opening of Health Sub Centres at Tappar, Naddakl, Kilor and Labana Dera, opening of PHC at village Bhalera. He announced upgradation of Government Primary School Lakhar Mandi and Adwash to Government Middle Schools, upgradation of Government High Schools Kukhri and Sarar to Senior Secondary Schools, starting of Science classes at Senior Secondary school Bhandal, opening of Primary School at Kaloh, upgradation of Government Middle Schools Pryungl, Jhodqa and Sakrora to High Schools. He said that the roads in Municipal Committee Dalhousie area would be maintained and metalled by the PWD. He said that a modern bus stand would be constructed at Dalhousie.
Chief Minister said that for the first time in the history of Himachal, a Prime Minister has sent a message congratulating the people of the State on the occasion of Himachal Day. He said that Prime Minister said that it was coincidence that where the Country was celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the State of Himachal Pradesh was celebrating 75 years of its existence. He said that the benevolence of the Prime Minister and Central leadership has ensured projects worth about Rs 10,000 crore for the State. He said that Rs. 2100 crore project for tourism would go a long way in making Himachal Pradesh a favorite destination for the tourists.
Jai Ram Thakur said that several welfare schemes being implemented in the State and several developmental projects being executed in the State were possible due to the double engine governments at the Centre and the State. He said that the Congress did nothing during all these years excepting enjoying power. He said that not even a single scheme was started by the previous Congress Government for welfare of the people. He said that the present State Government during the last about four years started several welfare schemes such as Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Himcare, Sahara Yojna, Jan Manch, Chief Minister Helpline-1100, Mukhiya Mantri Swavalamban Yojna etc. He said that all these schemes have virtually transformed the lives of the poor and downtrodden.
Chief Minister said that Rs. 304 crore works were being executed by the Jal Shakti department in the constituency, out of which over Rs 240 crore have been provided during the tenure of the present State Government.
Chief Minister said that the BJP would again form Government in the State like it has done in Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Goa and Manipur. He said that the dream of the Congress leaders to come to power would surely shatter. He said that the present State Government organized State level Himachal Day function at Chamba and made a few historic decisions. He said that the Government has decided to provide 125 units free power per month besides free water in rural areas of the State.
Chief Minister inaugurated Rs. 8.05 crore upgradation of Bassa to Naral road under PMGSY-II, Rs 1.50 crore about 40 meter Span Steel Bridge over Suil river on Maira to Jakhral road, Rs 1.11 crore about 15 meter Span Bridge over Bhidroh Nallah on Kainthly Bhidroh road, Rs 5.93 crore CHC Building Bathri and Rs. 1.10 crore 400 LPM PSA Plant at Civil Hospital Dalhousie.
Chief Minister also laid foundation stones of Rs. 29.59 crore augmentation and remodeling of various water supply schemes for Sherpur, Manola, Bathri, Pukhri, Banikhet, Balera, Gandana, Jiunta, Belly, Mail, Chun, Samleo, Bagdhar and Nagali gram panchauats of in Dalhousie and Bhattiyat tehsil, Rs 72 crore DPR for LWSS to various water supply schemes under gram panchayats Bagdhar, Nagali, Dhalog, Mornu, Sudli, Chuhan, Nainikhad, Bell, Balera, Tunnuhatti, Mail, Mornu, Samleo, Tappar, Padhrotu, Manola, Ruliyani, Osal, Bathri, Sherpur etc of Bhattiyat and Dalhousie constituencies, Rs 23.12 crore LWSS to draught affected census villages of gram panchayats Pichla Diur, Khadjota, Chee and Panjai and Himgiri in tehisil Salooni, Rs 10 crore LWSS to various habitats in gram panchayat Bhandal, Kihar and Sanuh in tehsil Salooni, Rs 9.13 crore source strengthening of various waters supply schemes under various habitations in gram panchayats Kilod and Salooni and Rs 4.25 crore LWSS for various panchayats such as Ligga, Kharal, Darekri etc. of tehsil Salooni.
Member of Parliament Kishan Kapoor said that the double engine government at the Centre and the State has ensured speedy development of the State. He said that the BJP Government at the Centre headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that India emerges as a strong and self-reliant nation of the world.

Thakur while welcoming the Chief Minister thanked the Chief Minister for laying foundation stone and dedicating developmental projects worth Rs 166 crore in Dalhousie Vihan Sabha Area. He said that during the earlier tour to the constituency, Chief Minister had laid foundation stone of about Rs. 65 crore water supply scheme for Dalhousie town. He said that work has been started on this ambitious water supply scheme and would go a long way in solving the water problem of this tourist town. He also detailed a few developmental demands of the area.
Dalhousie Mandal BJP President Vijay Thakur welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
