CM distributes sweets to girls of Tutikandi Balika Aashram

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur along-with his wife Dr. Sadhna Thakur visited Balika Ashram, Tutikandi here today and distributed sweets, fruits and crackers to the girls of the Ashram on the occasion of Diwali.

While wishing the girls a happy and prosperous Diwali, the Chief Minister said that this festival of lights give us a message that there was a ray of hope even in adverse conditions.

Jai Ram Thakur urged them to study hard so that they could succeed in their lives. He said that the government was endeavouring to provide all possible help for socio-economic upliftment of vulnerable sections of the society. He said that government would also provide adequate funds for strengthening and repair and flooring of the Ashram.

Joint Director, Women and Child Development Department Dr. Bhawana Sharma welcomed the Chief Minister.
