CM calls on Prahlad Singh Patel

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on MoS (Independent Charge) Tourism and Culture Prahlad Singh Patel at New Delhi last evening.

Chief Minister extended an invitation to Prahlad Patel to visit Dharamshala for Global Investors Meet and preside over the session to be held on tourism. He said that State was organising the mega event from 7 to 8 November, 2019 with an aim to attract investors to State and boost industrialization in the State. He also requested for financial assistance for the event.

Chief Minister apprised him about various activities being undertaken for promotion of tourism and strengthening of infrastructure with the assistance of ADB. He requested for cooperation from the Ministry for framing new projects and speedy approvals.

The Union Minister appreciated the tourism activities in the State and assured all possible assistance in near future for upcoming projects. He suggested to focus on promoting mountaineering activities to further strengthen adventure tourism.

Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Singh was also present in the meeting.
