State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority approves proposals worth Rs. 947.47 crore

19th meeting of State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and it approved eight project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving total proposed investment of approximately Rs. 947.47  crore and employment potential of about 4442 persons, which goes to show that the State continues to attract the investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy.

New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Indo Farm Equipment Limited, village Malkumajra, tehsil Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of Auto Parts etc., M/s Sandhar Technology Limited Village Baghbania, Tehsil Nalagarh, district Solan for manufacturing of Muffler Subassy, BS VI (Moped) Comfort etc., M/s Shalimar Hatcheries Limited, Industrial Area, Pandoga, district Una for manufacturing of processed meat.

Expansion proposals approved by the Authority include that of M/s ITC Limited, Manpura, Tehsil Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of Perfume, Hand Sanitizer, Soap, Shampoo, Cream etc., M/s Innova Captab Limited, Jharmajri, Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of Tablets, Capsules, Dry Syrup, Dry Injection, Oral Liquid, M/s Indorama Industries Limited, Lodhimajra, Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of Spandex Yarn, M/s Innovative Tech Pack Limited, Industrial Area Davni, Baddi, district Solan for manufacturing of Pet Bottle and Jars, M/s BE Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Nihalgarh, tehsil Paonta Sahib, district Sirmour for manufacturing of Vial Ampoule Injection.

Chief Minister said that preparation for the ground breaking ceremony should be expedited so that it could be organized at the earliest.

Industries Minister Bikram Thakur,   while welcoming the Chief Minister, directed the officers to speed up various proposals of the industrialists so that units could be set up at the earliest.

Director Industries Rakesh Prajapati conducted the proceedings of the meeting.

Additional Chief Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Principal Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma, Additional Secretary Excise and Taxation Nivedita Negi and other senior officers of the State Government attended the meeting.
