State Government approves 18 projects worth Rs. 977.47 crore

24th Meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram and approved 18 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving total proposed investment of approx. Rs. 977.47 Crore and employment potential of about 3793 persons, which show that the State continues to attract the investment despite of overall slowdown in the economy.

New proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Shivalik Solid Waste Management Limited (Unit-II), Village Upperla Nangal, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Paint Primer, M/s Jags Pharma Private Limited, Industrial Area Davni, Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan, for manufacturing of API, M/s Biotrend Energy Pvt. Ltd.,Chanaur Industrial Area, Vill. Chanaur, Tehsil Dadasiba, Distt. Kangra for manufacturing of Biomass Pellets, M/s Anjushree Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., Industrial Area Manjholi, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of API Bulk Drugs and Allied Products, M/s Mintmist Petro and Infrastructure LLP, Industrial Area Manjholi, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Ethanol, M/s Crius Health Pvt. Ltd., Vill. Malpur, Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Tablet, Capsule, Softgel Capsule, Powders, Liquid, M/s ARO Oils International, Vill. Chak Ukli, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla for manufacturing of Cedar Wood Oil, M/s Alutech Packaging Private Limited Unit- III, Village Dadi Kaniya, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Aluminium Foil Stock and Aluminium Foil Sheet, M/s RR Kabel Limited, Village Dev Nagar, Gagret, Tehsil Ghanari, Distt. Una for manufacturing of Electric Fan, M/s Organic Labs Pvt. Ltd., Industrial Area Kandrori, Distt. Kangra for manufacturing of Anti-Cancer, Anti TB, Critical Care etc., M/s Medwor Caps, Industrial Area Kirpalpur, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of EHG Caps, M/s Fortuner Paper Product, Industrial Area Kirpalpur, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Corrugated Box, Monocarton, M/s Tasmed India Pvt. Ltd., Industrial Area Kirpalpur,TehsilNalagarh, Distt. Solan, for manufacturing of Tablets, Capsules, M/s APG Drugs Private Limited, Industrial Area Plasra, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of API Products Chemical Based, M/s Bharat Spirits Private Limited, Industrial Area, Aduwal, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Ethanol, Power Generation for Captive Use, DDGS, CO2 and M/s Ashchem Organics, Industrial Area Plassra, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of API.

Expansion proposals approved by the Authority include proposals of M/s Micro Seamless, Village Tipra, Tehsil Baddi, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Seamless Tubes Allied Eng. Auto Components etc. and M/s Immacule Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., Village Thanthewal, Tehsil Nalagarh, Distt. Solan for manufacturing of Injection & Clarithromycin Lyophilized Powder for Solution.

With the approval of BBN Node in Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor by Govt. of India, an area of 1024 Acre land is proposed to be developed by SIA (State Govt. & NICDC). The Department of Industries is making efforts to acquire more land in order to facilitate investment in the State.

Director Industries Rakesh Prajapati conducted the proceedings of the meeting.

Industries Minister Bikram Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman,  Additional Chief Secretary Finance Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretary Revenue Onkar Sharma, Member Secretary H.P. Pollution Control Board Aproov Devgan and other senior officers attended the meeting.
