Printing of ballot papers completes in H.P. Government printing press

Chief Electoral Officer C. Paulrasu said here today that the printing of ballot papers for EVMs and tendered votes has been completed by the Himachal Pradesh Government Printing Press as per the norms set by the Election Commission. As many as 56,500 ballot papers have been printed for Mandi parliamentary constituency and 4,000 for Fatehpur assembly constituency, 4,000 for Arki assembly constituency and 3,500 for Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituency. Apart from this, the printing work of the lists of contesting candidates has also been completed. As many as 5,100 lists have been printed for Mandi parliamentary constituency and 300 for Fatehpur assembly constituency, 400 for Arki assembly constituency and 300 for Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly constituency.

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dalip Negi took stock of the printing work today. He praised the officers and officials of the Printing Press and the Election Department for successfully completing this work on time.

The ballot papers and the lists of contesting candidates would be distributed to the concerned District Election Officers on October 16, 2021 for further action.
