Harpreet Sandhu, a practising lawyer and an author presented the set of four books including his latest edition of “Singapore-Indian Legal System”, a comparative study to Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhawan, Shimla, today.
While congratulating the author for bringing out comparative study of Legal System of Singapore and India, the Governor said that his visionary efforts would further strengthen the legal ties between the nations. He hoped that the book would be helpful not only for legal luminaries but also for research scholars. He said that the book would provide the readers a better understanding of functioning of the legal system of Singapore.
He wished the author success in his future endeavour.
On the occasion, Harpreet Sandhu said that his authored books aim to delineate the procedural aspects of two different Legal systems prevailing between different nations and India articulating occasionally the philosophical basis of their origin. Hence, provides an understanding of the constitutional legal functioning of different countries and strengthening the relationship in the domain of law, he added.
