A spokesperson of the Health Department said here today that incentive shall be granted to the 4th and 5th year MBBS students, Junior and Senior Residents, contractual doctors, contractual laboratory staff and 3rd year GNM students.
He said that an incentive of Rs. ten thousand shall be granted to 4th and 5th year MBBS students, Rs. ten thousand to Junior and Senior Residents, Rs. ten thousand to contractual doctors deployed for Covid-19 duties in various Government Medical Colleges, Hospitals, Dedicated Covid Centres and Hospitals till 30th June, 2021. Besides this, incentive of Rs. six thousand shall be provided to BSc and MSc 3rd year Nursing students, Rs. five thousand to contractual laboratory staff and GNM 3rd year students of these institutions deployed for Covid-19 duties.
He said that this incentive shall be in addition to the regular payments or salary given to them.
