Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) has signed MoUs with 21 Government ITIs across the state for National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned to short term skill training under Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Project (HPSDP). Earlier MoUs have been signed with 12 Government ITIs and as of now, the MoUs have been signed for  33 ITIs.

HPKVN intends to strengthen ITI eco-system for short term training. HPKVN is also working towards strengthening the infrastructure and capacity of ITIs in a phased manner. Through these MoUs, ITI students will get an opportunity of skill upgradation and multi-skilling, thus providing more employment opportunities.

Managing Director, HPKVN, Rohan Chand Thakur signed the MoU with Principals of ITIs. General Managers, Dr. Saneel Thakur and Sunny Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Gaurav Mahajan, Training Consultant Kapil Bhardwaj and other officials were also present at the event.
