Probationers of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services and Allied Services called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan today. These 19 probationers are undergoing training at Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration, Fairlawn, Shimla.
Director HIPA Vivek Bhatia and Additional Director Jyoti Rana were also present on the occasion.
The Governor, while sharing his life experiences with the probationers, asked them to work with the spirit of social service. He said that the conduct of a person should always be good. Untimely completion and indiscipline practices in work are also a corrupt practice. Time bound completion of work helps in achieving success goals of life.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that one should make a determined effort to bring about a positive change in the life of the person standing at the last rung of the society. The Governor also shared his efforts made for environmental protection during his tenure as Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly with the probationers.
He said that with the paperless initiative in Goa Assembly Constituency, about 1298 trees were saved from being cut during one session. He urged for commitment towards environmental protection.
On this occasion, Vivek Bhatia apprised the Governor about various activities and training programmes of the Institute.
He said that various innovations are being made to make the training programmes more effective.
The probationers also shared various experiences with the Governor, related to training in the Institute.
Secretary to the Governor Priyatu Mandal was also present on the occasion.
