The State Cabinet meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to fill up 500 posts of Medical Officers in Health Department to ensure better health services to the people of the State nearer to their homes. Out of these 500 posts, 300 posts of Medical Officers will be filled up through Walk In Interview within a month and 200 posts would be filled through the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.
The Cabinet also decided to fill up 880 posts of Community Health Officers on contract basis under National Health Mission in various Health and Wellness Centres of the State.
It also decided to fill up 19 posts of Medical Officers (Dental) in Department of Dental Health Services on contract basis i.e. 50 percent through Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission and 50 percent on batchwise basis.
It also decided to open Block Medical Office at Kafota in Sirmaur district alongwith creation and filling up of 18 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its nod to extend Market Intervention Scheme for Procurement of Apple, Mango and citrus fruits viz. Kinnow, Malta, Orange and Galgal for the year 2022 with an enhancement of Rs. 1 per kg from last year.
Under the Scheme, 144936 MT apple would be procured under MIS at the rate of Rs. 10.50 per kg with handling charges of Rs. 2.75 per kg. Under this scheme, 305 procurement centres would be opened as per the demand of the fruit growers out of which 169 collection centres would be opened and operated by HPMC and 136 by HIMFED.
Approximately 250 MT seedling, 500 MT grafted and 500 MT Achari mango would be procured at the rate of Rs. 10.50 for all varieties of mango. These would be procured through HPMC and HIMFED with handling charges at the rate Rs. 1.30 per kg.
Similarly, 500 MT Kinnow, Malta and Orange would be procured at the rate of Rs. 9.50 (B grade) and Rs. 9 (C grade) per kg whereas 100 MT galgal would be procured at the rate of Rs. 8 per kg with handling charge of Rs. 2.65 per kg for citrus fruits and Rs.1 per kg for galgal.
The State Cabinet decided to lift the ban on transfers for ten days from 18th July to 27th July, 2022.
The Cabinet also decided to recommend the Governor to convene the Monsoon Session of H.P. Vidhan Sabha in four sittings on 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th August, 2022.
The Cabinet gave its approval for going ahead with signing of loan agreement through Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India with Asian Development Bank for Rs. 1098.89 crore externally aided ‘Himachal Pradesh Rural Water Improvement and Livelihood Project’ for providing clean drinking water to every household of the State. This project would be financed through a loan of Rs. 760.77 crore by Asian Development Bank and a counter fund of Rs. 338.12 crore by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in the ratio 69.2 percent of ADB share and 30.8 percent of State share.
The Cabinet gave its consent to create Jal Shakti Circle at Thunag in Mandi district alongwith creation of 24 posts of different categories for its smooth functioning.
It also decided to fill up 26 posts of Clerk in Jal Shakti Vibhag under Limited Direct Recruitment.
It also gave its approval for filling up of 25 posts of Junior Scale Stenographers in Himachal Pradesh Secretariat on contract basis.
The Cabinet gave its approval for opening Sub Divisional Offices (Civil) at Rakkar and Kotla Behar in Kangra district.
It gave approval for creating three new patwar circles viz. Kigas, Bhamsoe and Audidhar in Aut tehsil of Mandi district alongwith requisite posts.
The Cabinet gave its approval for bifurcation and reorganization of existing patwar circles under Poanta Sahib tehsil in Sirmaur district.11 new patwar circles viz. Devinagar, Gondpur, Chhachheti, Patilyon, BaiKuan, Shamsherpur, Manpur Devra, Khodari, Mohkampur Nawada, Banaur and Dandan besides two new Kanungo circles at Rajpura and Bhatanwali and two new Sub Tehsils at Rajpur and Khorowala to facilitate the people of the area. With this, Poanta Sahib tehsil would have total 23 patwar circles and four kanungo circles.
The Cabinet decided to open new Sub Tehsils at Kala Amb under Nahan Tehsil of Sirmaur district, Dharmwari under Chirgoan tehsil of Shimla district, Samarkot under Rohru tehsil of Shimla district and Chachiyan under Palampur tehsil of Kangra district.
The Cabinet gave its nod to transfer/lease government land for opening of new Kendriya Vidyalayas at Dharmpur and Sandhol in Mandi district on a lease of Rs. 1 per annum for 99 years.
It also gave its approval for opening two new Cyber Crime Police Stations at Range Headquarters in Dharamsala and Mandi.
It also decided to construct three Inspection Huts of Jal Shakit Vibhag at Devdhar in Seraj area of Mandi district, Katrain area of Kullu district and Timbi in Shillai area of Sirmaur district.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Jal Shakti Sections at Duhak and at Tampa under Jal Shakti Division Thural alongwith creation of eight posts of different categories to man these sections.
The Cabinet gave its nod to provide 6.6 acre land of Dr. Y.S. Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University Nauni on lease for 99 years on token lease amount of Rs. 1 in favour of Botanical Survey of India for setting up its Regional Centre in the University Campus.
The Cabinet gave its approval to create and fill up four posts of different categories in newly taken over Government Sanskrit College Dangar in Bilaspur district to facilitate the students.
It also decided to start commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School Nishu in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
It also decided to start commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School, Sanhal and Dhamandri in Una district alongwith creation of 5 posts.
The Cabinet also decided to upgrade Government High School Panvi in Kinnaur district to Government Senior Secondary School alongwith creation and filling up of six posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave approval for providing NOC for recognition of Men-Tsee-Khang Sowa Rigpa College and Hospital and Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute of His Holiness Dalai Lama Dharamshala district Kangra for grant of Bachelor of Sowa Rigpa Medicine and Surgery under the provisions of Indian Medicine Central Council (Requirement of minimum standards for under-graduate Sowa Rigpa Colleges and attached Hospitals) Regulation, 2017.
It also gave its approval to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Kalatha in Sirmaur district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Seepur in Kasumpti area of Shimla district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to fill up three posts of dispenser in Prisons and Correctional Services Department.
It also decided to convert three posts of Finger Print Examiner in District Forensic Unit Bilaspur, Nurpur and Baddi to Scientific Assistant.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Public Works Department Electrical 3rd circle at Mandi alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also decided to open new Sub Division of Public Works Department at Makridi in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of nine posts.
The Cabinet gave its approval for selection of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Noida for design development and implementation of a web based Hospital Management Information System in 53 hospitals in the State.
It decided to open new Health Sub Centre at Gram Panchayat Jol in Jawali Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district.
It also decided to open Primary Health Centre at Chiyuni in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre, Sandasu in Shimla district to 50 bedded health institution alongwith creation and filling up of 16 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet also decided to open new Health Sub Centre at Kanola in GP Mashobra of Shimla district.
It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Kotla in Kangra district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of two posts.
The Cabinet approved opening of Health Sub Centres at Tatiyana, Khadkahan and Shilli Adhog in Sirmaur district alongwith creation of requisite posts.
It also decided to open Primary Health Centre at Babeli in Manali tehsil of Kullu district alongwith creation and filling up three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Gushani in Banjar tehsil of Kullu district to Community Health Centre and Health Sub Centre Jibhi in Banjar area of Kullu district to Primary Health Centre to facilitate the people of the area.
It also decided to open new Health Sub Centre at Suri in Una district.
It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centres Amlehar and Badhehra Rajputana in Una district to Community Health Centres alongwith creation and filling up of seven posts of different categories.
It also gave its consent to upgrade Primary Health Centre Gorkhuwala-2 in Sirmaur district to 10 bedded health institution to facilitate the people of the area.
The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Community Health Centre Sainj in Kullu district to 50 bedded health institution alongwith creation and filling up of 27 posts of different categories.
It decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Haripurdhar in Sirmaur district to Civil Hospital alongwith creation and filling up of 26 posts of different categories to man this health institution.
It also decided to upgrade Health Sub Centre Jarag in Sirmaur district to Primary Health Centre.
It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Rajpur in Sirmaur district from 30 bedded to 50 bedded health institution alongwith creation and filling up of 20 posts of different categories for its smooth functioning.
The Cabinet gave its nod to upgrade Primary Health Centre Baddukhar in Kangra district to Community Health Centre alognwith creation and filling up of four posts of different categories.
It decided to increase the bed capacity of Community Health Centre at Raison in Kullu district to 30 bedded hospital to facilitate the people of the area.
