The Meeting of State Cabinet was held here today which was presided over by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and reviewed Covid-19 situation in the State. It decided to put some restrictions in the wake of increased number of covid-19 cases in the State. It decided to impose night curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM throughout the State besides closing indoor sports complexes, cinema halls, multiplexes, stadia, swimming pools, gyms, langers etc. in the State. It also decided to allow 50 percent gathering of the indoor capacity including marriage palaces, banquet halls etc.
The Cabinet decided to regularize the services of part time water carriers of Education Department who have completed 11 years of services (7 years as part time and four years as daily wagers) as on 30th September, 2021. This would benefit 1782 water carriers. The Cabinet decided to fill up 129 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in Forest Department on contract basis. It also decided to include Gram Panchayat Murag, Sharan and Kanda-Bagsiad of Development Block Gohar in Development Block Seraj at Janjehli in Mandi district to facilitate the people of these panchayats. The Cabinet decided to create Dhuan Devin Patwar Circle in Mandi Sadar tehsil by carving out it from existing Patwar Circle Pandoh, Majhwar and Nela in Mandi district. It also gave its nod to create Patwar circle Killing under Chachiot tehsil of Mandi district to facilitate the people of the area.
It also gave its consent to award upgradation, operation and management of Culture Centre of Tourism Development at Baragran in Manali area of Kullu district to successful bidder M/s Maya Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai-Deepa Roshan Lal Sahi (Consortium). This newly created facility would add leisure tourism to the itinerary and would emerge as art and craft hub for the artisan of the State. In order to transform the transport sector for development of safe, resilient and high standard transport infrastructure besides facilitating green growth while strengthening the State Level Transport and Logistics institutions and improving connectivity and enhancing mobility, the Cabinet gave its approval to convert Himachal Pradesh Road and other Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPRIDC) into a Public Limited Company. The Cabinet gave its nod for MoU between Government of Himachal Pradesh and Government of Haryana related to construction of Adi Badri Dam on river Som and its linkage with Saraswati river. The Cabinet decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Pandoh to Community Health Centre and opening of Primary Health Centre at Kot in Mandi district alongwith creation of nine posts of different categories in these health institutions.
It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Rewalsar in Mandi district to Civil Hospital alongwith creation and filling up of 20 posts of different categories. The Cabinet decided to upgrade 30 bedded Community Health Centre Dehar to 40 bedded Civil Hospital and upgradation of Primary Health Centre Jachchh in Mandi district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation of 20 posts of different categories in these health institutions for smooth functioning. It decided to open Primary Health Centres at Gram Panchayat Randhar and Gram Panchayat Majhwar in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts each for these health institutions for their smooth functioning. The Cabinet also decided to upgrade PHC Raison in Kullu district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation of four posts. It gave its nod to upgrade Primary Health Centres Chontra and Ashla in Mandi district to Community Health Centres alongwith creation and filling up of nine posts in these health institutions. It also decided to upgrade Civil Hospital Manali in Kullu district to 100 bedded hospital alongwith creation of 33 posts of different categories to facilitate the people of the area. The Cabinet gave its approval to upgrade Health Sub Centre Rajgarh to Primary Health Centre and upgradation of Primary Health Centre Gagal in Mandi district to Community Health Centre to facilitate the people of the area.
It also gave its nod to upgrade Health Sub Centre Baaga in Solan district to Primary Health Centre. The Cabinet decided to upgrade Health Sub Centre Golwan to Primary Health Centre and open Primary Health Centre at Peepali in Mandi district to facilitate the people of the area. It also decided to give district level status to Aashar Naag Fair, Banikhet in Chamba district. The Cabinet gave its nod to upgrade Government High Schools, Pota Manal, Sakholi, Shawga Kando, Thonta and Kotla Panjaula in Sirmaur district to Government Senior Secondary Schools and upgradation of Government Middle Schools, Bella, Gundah, Badwa in Sirmaur district to Government High Schools alongwith creation of 42 posts of different categories to man these educational institutions. It also decided to upgrade Government Primary Schools, Shamati and Rabaun in Solan district to Government Middle Schools alongwith creation and filling up of nine posts of different categories to manage these schools. It also gave its nod to upgrade Government Middle Schools Dhimla and Lug in Bharmour area of Chamba district to Government High Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 12 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet also decided to upgrade Government Middle Schools Kishori and Bhujand in Lahaul-Spiti district to Government High Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 8 posts of different categories. It decided to open Health Sub Centre at Birnu and Primary Health Centre at Bah-Ki-Dhar in Mandi district to facilitate the people of the area. It also decided to open Primary Health Centre at Sajala in Gram Panchayat Karjan in Manali area of Kullu district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet also decided to open Horticulture Extension Centres at Kindar in Development Block Sundernagar and Mahog and Mahunag in Development Block Karsog in Mandi district to facilitate the horticulturists of the area. It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Mandap in Mandi district to 50 bedded Civil Hospital to facilitate the people. It also decided to fill up seven posts of Assistant Professors in IGMC, Shimla and Atal Institute of Medical Superspeciality Chamiyana through direct recruitment. The Cabinet decided to open new veterinary dispensaries in village Heerpur, Bhuppur and Khodari Majri in Sirmaur district alongwith creation and filling of requisite posts to run these dispensaries.
