The spokesman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority H.P. informed here today that the Authority had received six complaints from different complainants against M/s Deepak Virmani and Data Ram, who are in process of constructing a project in the name of “Aamoksh @ Kasauli” situated at Mohal Joul, Tehsil Kasauli, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
The spokesman said that out of these six complaints five have been decided by the Authority on merit in favour of allottees on 26th February, 2021 and respondent promoters have been directed to refund an amount of Rs. 2,63,09,559 alongwith simple interest at the 9.3 percent. The interest shall be payable from the dates on which different payments were made by complainants to respondent promoters. The refund along with interest is to be paid by respondent promoters jointly and severally to Complainants within four months from the date of this order.
The Authority has further directed the District Collector, Solan to attach the land and property of the present project, by making the necessary entries in revenue record, till the Complainants (home buyers) get refund of the amount paid along with interest. The order passed by Authority in this case has been uploaded on official website of the Authority.
