Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the State on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti.
Governor said that Maharishi Valmiki showed the path of truth and dedication to the people and inspired them to lead a truthful life. He urged the people of the State to follow ideals set up by Maharishi Valmiki.
In his message, Chief Minister said that Maharishi Valmiki was a great soul who authored the great Indian Epic Ramayana, which still is a great source of inspiration and guidance.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the teachings of Maharishi Valmiki were relevant in present day context and we should follow the path shown by him and abide to his teachings.
