Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have greeted the people of the state especially Sikh brethren on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti.
In his felicitation message, the Governor said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji is the first Sikh Guru and his birth anniversary is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. He said that Guru Nanak Dev’s eternal message guides us on the path of creating a kind, compassionate and peaceful world.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji illuminated the world with his teachings and taught the lesson of humanity. He showed us the path of a compassionate virtuous life and an inclusive society.
