Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the State particularly the Muslim brethren on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha being celebrated on Wednesday in the country.
The Governor has conveyed his greetings and best wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters. He prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity of all sections of the society.
CM Jai Ram Thakur said that Id-ul-Zuha symbolizes sacrifice, faith, devotion, the spirit of universal love and brotherhood. He appealed the people to work for peace, progress and prosperity of the State.
He said that Id-ul-Zuha was a festival of sacrifice and devotion to the God. He hoped that this festival would further strengthen the bond of love and brotherhood.
The Chief Minister has urged the people to celebrate this festival while ensuring Covid appropriate behaviour by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing etc. to avoid the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
