Five persons of Himachal staying in Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh

A spokesman of the State Government said here today that as many as five persons of Himachal Pradesh stranded at Chandigarh were staying in Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh contrary to the facts being reported in social media.

The spokesman said that these Himachalis staying in Himachal Bhawan are 26 years Prakash Verma, a class-IV employee in AG Office, Chandigarh hailing from Salooni of Chamba district, 27years old Naresh Kumar belonging to Bhatoli of Una district, Sumit aged 30 years of Tapri in Kinnaur district, 26 years old Swaranjali hailing from Amb of Una district and 37 years old Priya Sharma of Dharamshala in Kangra district.

The spokesman said that it was unfortunate that such false news was being circulated in social media by distorting the facts. He said that a Nodal Officer has been appointed by the State Government and a medical team of UT Administration was only allowing entry of people after thorough checking and clearance.
