Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today released Vikrami Samvat Calendar brought out by Himachal Sanskriti Academy here today.
Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the Academy and said that the Hindu New Year would commence from 13th April, 2021 and this Calendar was as per our Indian cultural traditions and Indian mythology.
Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur, Director Higher Education Dr. Amarjeet Sharma, Secretary Academy Dr. Keshva Nand Kaushal were present on the occasion.
