Announces Government Degree College at Galore and two Health Sub Centres in Nadaun Assembly Constituency
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stone of 46 developmental projects worth about Rs. 287 crore at Pansai ground in Nadaun Assembly Constituency of Hamirpur district today.
While addressing the mammoth gathering on the occasion, Jai Ram Thakur announced opening of Government Degree College at Galore, Jal Shakti Division at Nadaun, upgradation of PHC Dhaneta to CHC, opening of Fire Station at Nadaun, construction of Science Lab in Government Senior Secondary Schools Nadaun and Jalari, starting of Science classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools Choru and Batran and Commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School Upper Hareta and upgradation of Government High School Pansai to Government Senior Secondary School
Chief Minister also announced Rs. 26 crore for construction of River Rafting Complex at Nadaun, Rs. 10 lakh for development of Mela ground at Pansai, opening of patwar circles at Bela Barmoti and Majholi, opening of two Health Sub Centres in Nadaun Assembly Constituency and conversion of two temporary Police Posts into Permanent Police Posts in the constituency.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the present State Government has ensured equitable and balanced development of every area of the State and every section of the society during last four and a half years. He said that although about two years of the present State Government was affected due to corona pandemic but the Government apart from saving the precious lives of the people, also ensured that pace of development goes uninterrupted during the period. He said that the previous Government did nothing to strengthen health infrastructure of the State. He said that there were only 50 ventilators in the State three year back whereas today the State has over 1000 ventilators.
Chief Minister said that the present State Government during its tenure has constructed a record length of roads in the State. He said that record number of bridges were built and record number of villages were connected with roads during the tenure of the present State Government. He said that the Congress has completely lost its base in the country as well as the State. He said that the Congress leaders were only day dreaming to come into power in the State.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has announced that no bill would be charged from electricity consumers consuming less than 125 units of power per month. He said that 50 percent concession would also be provided in bus fare to the women in HRTC buses and no water bill would be charged from consumers of rural areas. He said that the people of AAP were confused as the party has crash-landed even before the take-off. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his message has greeted the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Himachal Day which speaks of his love and affection towards the people of the State
He also congratulated the people on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and wished for their good health and happiness.

Chief Minister was presented a cheque of Rs. 11,000 by Piyush Pandit towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha Prof. Sikander Kumar said that he was an academician and had never thought of entering into politics. He said that this was only possible in BJP where a common man can become a Member of Parliament. He assured the people of the area that he would work with utmost dedication to come upto their expectations.
Vice Chairman HRTC and former MLA Nadaun Vijay Agnihotri while welcoming the Chief Minister to Nadaun, said that the area has witnessed unparalleled development during the last about four and a half years. He said that work on Dhaula Sidh Power Project was also going on in the constituency. He said that even the opposition leaders today were acknowledging the developmental works going on in the constituency as well as district. He also detailed a few developmental demands of the area.
