Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur flagged off five oxygen fitted ambulances presented to him by Mahindra Group under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Oak Over here today.
While thanking the Mahindra Group for their philanthropic gesture, Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government was committed to provide best health care facilities to the people of the State and these ambulances would go a long way in supplementing the efforts of the State Government for mitigating the suffering of the patients. He said that these ambulances would be provided to IGMC Shimla, Kinnaur, Kandaghat, Janjheli and Nurpur hospitals. He also thanked the Mahindra Group for setting up a 500 LPM PSA Oxygen Plant at Dehra in Kangra district which would ensure better health care facilities to the people of the area during this testing time of pandemic.
Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi and Executive Assistant to the President Group Public Affairs Mahindra Group Yashvardhan Verma were present on the occasion among others.
