- Target of Rs. 10 thousand crore set for 2nd ground breaking ceremony
14th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in which 20 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units involving a total proposed investment of approx. Rs. 868.58 crore and employment potential for about 2598 persons were approved.
New proposals approved by the Authority include M/s Prosperity 6 Pharmaceutics Unit-II, Plot No.24, EPIP, Phase-II, Thana Baddi, Distt. Solan, H.P. for manufacturing of dry powder injections, dry syrups, tablets & capsules, M/s Ideal Medical Devices Pvt. Ltd., Vill. Moginand, Kala Amb Distt. Sirmour, H.P. for manufacturing of single use syringes, pet bottles, corrugated cartons, needles, M/s Vishal Engineering Company, Unit-II, Vill. Moginand, Kala Amb, Tehsil Nahan, Distt. Chief Minister also directed the officers to gear up themselves for hosting second ground breaking ceremony preferably on the occasion of completion of three years tenure of the present State Government.
Industries Minister Bikram Singh Thakur said that during the first ground breaking ceremony, projects worth over Rs. 13000 crore was performed and a target of Rs. 10 thousand crore has been set for the second ground breaking ceremony.
Additional Chief Secretary Industries Ram Subhag Singh assured the Chief Minister that the department would work with greater dedication to ensure implementation of maximum projects in the State.
Commissioner-cum-Director Industries Hansraj Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
