Chief Secretary Anil Khachi called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan, today.
In his courtesy call, the Chief Secretary apprised the Governor about the status of on-going central aided development projects being undertaken in the State.
The Governor advised him to focus on and encourage digital tourism so that it could benefit the tourist from South India. He said that most of the people from South India would like to visit religious places in the State but due to the gap of digital platform, it affected tourism industry in the state to some extent. He said that it should be improved and added that he had initiated the process with Andhra and Telangana Government and it required the high level meeting with state top authorities.
He also discussed the immediate steps being taken by the state government to check covid cases.
Secretary to Governor Rakesh Kanwar was also present on the occasion.
