Chief Minister dedicates projects worth Rs 61.2 crore in Drang assembly constituency
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today presided over the Pragatisheel Himachal : Sthaapna ke 75 Varsh program at Hardgalu of Drang Assembly Constituency and also inaugurated the developmental projects worth Rs 61.2 crore.
He inaugurated the Joint Office Building at Padhar worth Rs. 17.88 crore, Civil Hospital building worth Rs. 8.15 crore, science block building at Government College Drang costing Rs. 4.73 crore and Community Health Center building at Nagawain worth Rs 4.63 crore. He also inaugurated the residential building of CHC Nagwain worth Rs.61 lakh, Riggad Nala bridge Rs.1.08 crore, Sakrayar Khad bridge Rs.88 lakh, foot bridge over Uhal river Rs. 87 lakh, Neuli-Tung road phase-II Rs. 7.97 crore and Neul-Budha Bingal-Triyambali road Rs. 4.04 crore. Chief Minister also dedicated the Shilha-bdhwani-Kathog road phase-II constructed at a cost of Rs 3.01 crore, upgradation of Katindi-Kashala road Rs. 7.05 crore, Jhandar-Lagdhar road 2.97 crore and Mukhya Mantri Lok Bhawan at Hardgalu constructed at a cost of Rs.30 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Jai Ram Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh had established many milestones during its glorious journey of 75 years. Chief Minister said that unprecedented development had taken place in the state during the tenure of present government. Efforts had been made by the State Government for the overall development of each region of the State and every section of society. He said that State Government had provided every possible help to the people during the Corona pandemic.
Chief Minister said that during the last five years, efforts had been made for the all-round development of the Drang Assembly Constituency. Referring to the development of Drang constituency, Jai Ram Thakur said that Padhar to Bhadvahan road had been constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.16 crore, Masad to Banol road at a cost of Rs. 2.74 crore, Sehtaun-Muthal road Rs. 4.41 crore, Janed-Lagdhar road Rs. 2.97 crore, Hanogi-Bandhi road Rs. 8.50 crore, Nagan-Uparli Khajri road Rs 5.41 crore and Bhatwadi-Rains road had been constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.86 crore.
He said that the construction work of bridge at Kamand at a cost of Rs. 14.82 crore and two bridges on Uhal river at a cost of Rs 1.97 crore was in progress. He said that building of Cluster University was coming up at Narla at a cost of Rs. 10.72 crore. Similarly, Rs. 1.75 crore are being spent on science laboratory building of Government Senior Secondary School Sahal, Rs 1.26 crore on science laboratory building of Government Senior Secondary School Sudhar, Rs. 5 crore on building of Degree College Panarsa and Rs. 2.17 crore on Police Station building at Padhar.
On this occasion, Chief Minister announced to sanction Rs. 10 lakh for the construction of sports ground in Government Senior Secondary School Kufri. He also announced the upgradation of Government Middle Schools Khil and Futakhal to Government High Schools. He said that science classes would be started in Government Senior Secondary School Gharan and Government High Schools of Gahang, Sanwad and Garlog would be upgraded to Government Senior Secondary Schools. Chief Minister also announced to make budget provision for the construction of Press Club Building at Padhar.
Local MLA Jawahar Thakur welcomed the Chief Minister and gave the detailed information about the developmental works in the area. Office bearers of BJP and Panchyati Raj Institutions, Deputy Commissioner Mandi Arindam Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
