Shimla, Rakesh Sharma Babli, president of the BJP state Kisan Morcha and State Workers Welfare Board, on Saturday died of heart attack.
Babli was on his way to Kinnaur from Shimla when he suffered a heart attack near Negulsari. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Rampur for treatment but he died on the way.
Babli was a great worker for BJP , ABVP and RSS he has served the party at various posts.
His mortal remains reached shimla at 6 AM from where BJP State General secretary Trilok Jamwal, State Secretary Tilak Raj, Office secretary P S Kanwar and OSD to CM Shishu Bhai dharma accompanied to his native place in Vidhansabha Badsad village budan where is last rites were performed at 1:30 PM on Sunday 3 July.
Chief minister Jairam Thakur said the news of the untimely death of Rakesh Babli, Chairman of State Workers Welfare Board and State President of BJP Kisan Morcha, is extremely painful. Can’t believe that Babli left us and went away forever.
BJP State President Suresh Kashyap said this is an irreparable loss to the party, he will be missed forever. Such workers will be live forever in our memories. May God rest the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the bereaved family members and fans.
BJP state incharge Avinash Rai khanna said He will always be remembered as an honest and a hardworking leader. He worked 365 days to strengthen the party and his devotion for the party was superb.
BJP State Co incharge Sanjay Tandon Said that we have lost a gem, Rakesh will be remembered for his contributions to Strengthen the party.
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda said The news of the demise of Rakesh Sharma Babli is extremely sad.
His entire life was devoted to the service of the society and the organisation. I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and express my condolences to their families.
Leaders from Hamirpur Parliament were also present for his funeral.
