Got patients airlifted from Dodra-Kwar
Yet in another humanitarian gesture, Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu got airlifted two patients viz. Prem Lal (58) and Ajeet Kumar (40) along-with their attendants from Dodra Kwar, the far flung region of district Shimla by State government’s Helicopter yesterday.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Chief Minister directed the district administration to get them airlifted and provide them immediate medical assistance.
It was also ensured to station an ambulance and medical attendants at Annandale helipad, to provide them the medical care. Both the patients were shifted to IGMC for treatment.
As per the latest reports, both of them were recuperating at IGMC.
Earlier also the Chief Minster has spared the helicopter to airlift the patients from the tribal belts of Killar in Chamba district and from Lahaul-Spiti.
He has directed the hospital authorities to provide them the best of medical care.
The attendants also thanked the Chief Minister for the noble gesture and saving the lives of their dear ones.
