Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar released the poetry collection “Poh Ki Aakhri Raat” written by Savita Banta at Raj Bhavan, today. The author has expressed the moods and emotions of women through different poems in this collection.
While appreciating the efforts of the poetess, the Governor said that she has presented the soreness of women in a very beautiful way through her poetries. On the occasion, during the discussion, the Governor said that timely guidance and counseling should be made available in schools for the students so that their hidden talents could be recognized. He also stressed to sensitize the parents about the problems their children are facing and said that every problem has a solution.
Savita Banta hails from Shimla, who has completed her Masters in Hindi and Psychology and also has degrees in Vastu Acharya and Jyotishacharya. She is associated with astro counselor, acting and writing.
Other family members of the writer were also present on the occasion.
