College Lectures call on CM and thanked for revised UGC pay scale

 A delegation of college lecturers called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Oak Over Shimla today under the leadership of Dr. R.L. Sharma, Secretary Joint Action Committee.

The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for providing the revised UGC pay scales to the college lectures in the state.

On this occasion, Jai Ram Thakur said that during the last four and half years tenure of the present state government, many steps had been taken for the welfare of the employees. He said that the state government had timely given all the due financial benefits to the employees of the state. Besides this the state government had fulfilled the other demands of the employees and also provided time to time facilities to them, he added.

The delegation also included Joint Working Committee member Dr. J.S. Saklani, Nitin Vyas and other college lecturers.
