The students and staff of Akal college of nursing and the drug-addiction patients of Akal Drug De-Addiction Centre took out a massive rally to mark the ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking’. The rally was organised by Eternal University Baru Sahib in Sirmore district of Himachal. 300 people participated in the rally.
The rally organized to create awareness on the growing menace of drug-addiction among youngsters was flagged off by Dr Davinder Singh, Vice Chancellor of Eternal University, exclusively meant for girls, and President of The Kalgidhar Trust.
The rally started from the university campus covered villages like Maacher and Bagroti falling within 4 km from the campus.
