Announces upgradation of CHC Haripurdhar to Civil Hospital, Health Sub Centre Tarey to PHC and opening of patwar circle at Sail
CM Presided over closing ceremony of Maa Bhangiyani Mela at Haripurdhar
Community Health Centre Haripurdhar would be upgraded to Civil Hospital, Veterinary Dispensary Bharog-Bhanedi to Veterinary Hospital, Health Sub Centre Tarey to PHC, Government Middle Schools, Sail, Jar Grabi and Thana Karod to Government High Schools, Government High Schools Devdi Kharahan and Chauras to Government Senior Secondary Schools.
These announcements were made by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while presiding over the closing ceremony of three day Maa Bhangiyani Mela at Haripurdhar in Sirmour district today. He also announced that patwar circle would be opened at Sail and Rs. 15 lakh would be provided for the stage at Haripurdhar mela ground. He said that Naib Tehsildar of Noradhar would sit at Boghdhar for two days in a week.
Chief Minister said that the Hatti community of the Sirmaur has maintained the rich cultural repository of the community which was indeed appreciable. He said that it was after about two years that this fair was being celebrated due to the corona pandemic. He said that all this was possible due to the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he not only successfully guided the nation in this testing time, but also motivated the scientists to develop indigenous vaccine against the virus. He said that free two doses were provided to over 135 crore people of the country. He said that it was unfortunate that the Congress leaders even opposed this initiative of the BJP Government, but were first in getting them vaccinated. He said that during the pandemic these leaders went into hibernation, whereas on the other hand the BJP leaders not only provided face masks and other assistance to the needy, but the BJP Government also strengthened health infrastructure in the State.
Jai Ram Thakur said that almost every section of the society has been benefitted by welfare schemes initiated by the State Government. He said that all eligible people above 60 years of age were getting social security pension and every eligible family had been provided free gas connection under the Ghirini Suvidha Yojna. He said that from July month onwards zero bills would be charged from the consumers consuming 125 unit power per month. He said that the State produces over 11000 MW power and it becomes the duty of a welfare Government to provide free power to the needy. He said that this decision of the State Government would benefit about 11 lakh families of the State.
Chief Minister said that the State Government has initiated several schemes for empowerment of women. He said that the State Government has decided to provide Rs. 25,000 as revolving fund to Self Help Group so that they could start their own ventures. He said that the State Government also decided to provide 50 per cent concession to women in bus fare in HRTC buses. He said that free water would also be provided to rural water consumers. He said that the Congress leaders were not able to digest these initiatives and were issuing baseless and uncalled for statements to mislead the people. He said that people of the country have completely discarded the Congress and now the people of Himachal Pradesh would ensure that the BJP again comes in power.
Jai Ram Thakur, while taking a jibe at the Congress Party, said that the Party has appointed four Working Presidents in a small State like Himachal Pradesh in a desperate attempt to unite the completely disintegrated party.
Earlier the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 22 developmental projects worth about Rs. 80 crore at Haripurdhar in Sri Renuka Ji assembly constituency of Sirmaur district.
Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated Rs. 3.70 crore metalling and tarring of link road to village Jamu Koti, Rs. 2.81 crore metalling and tarring of Andheri to Ranfua Jabrog, Rs. 2.69 crore Khakoli Unger Kando road, Rs. 2.08 crore metalling and tarring of link road from Pullilani Bhallor Bhallona to Sangna, Rs. 7.94 crore metalling and tarring on Khalla Kiar Bandal Surakh road, Rs. 7.33 crore Magwa Suin road upto village Lagnoo, Rs. 9.77 crore 30 bedded CHC building at Sangrah, Rs. 10.25 crore residential building in Government Degree College at Sangrah, Rs. 45 lakh GWSS to Dhar Palyara Barunu in G.P. Rajana, Rs. 42 lakh augmentation of LWSS Mandoll and Badwana in G.P. Andheri, Rs. 37 lakh replacement of old and damaged pipes of GWSS Jagi Ka Bag, Jyar, Lodhia and Arawala under Jal Jeevan Mission in G.P. Bhawal and Rs. 5.77 crore 33/11 KV Sub Station at Panog.
The Chief Minister performed foundation stones laying ceremonies of Rs. 8.59 crore link road from Nohra to Churdhar, Rs. 4.49 crore link road from Gehel to Demaina Barwa Dasakana, Rs. 4.23 crore road from Rampur to Palahu via Kanhari Lana Cheta, Rs. 84 lakh Assistant Engineer Office cum residence at Haripurdhar, Rs. 1.56 crore Sub Tehsil office and residential accommodation at Haripurdhar, Rs.56 lakh development of park near under construction Shiva statue and development of track route from tracker Hostel of park alongwith cafeteria at Haripurdhar, Rs. 1.49 crore development of Churdhar under Nai Raahein, Nai Manzilein Scheme, Rs. 27 lakh installation of public tap alongwith real time water quality monitoring system at Dadahu, Rs. 3 crore IOT based instrumentation to monitor quality and quantity of drinking water in various water supply schemes Jal Shakti Circle Nahan and Rs. 30 lakh LWSS Karondwali in GP Birla in tehsil Dadahu.
Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap said that the Chief Minister took up the issue of declaring Hatti community as tribal with the Central Government several times. He said that it was due to the efforts of the Chief Minister that now the Union Minister has, in principle, agreed to the demand of over 3 lakh Hatti community. He said that the Chief Minister during the last four years have initiated several welfare schemes for the betterment of the people of the State. He also thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling several long pending issues of the whole Sirmour district.
Power Minister Sukhram Chaudhary also thanked the Chief Minister and other leadership for striving hard to get tribal status for the Trans Giri area of the district. He said that it was due to lack of willpower of the previous State Government, that the area could not be declared as a tribal area as was done for Junsar Babour of Uttrakhand 54 years ago. He also urged the people of the district to strengthen the hands of the Chief Minister so that the pace of development goes uninterrupted for the coming years.
MLA and former Speaker H.P. Vidhan Sabha Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the present State Government headed by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has ensured balanced and equitable development of all parts of the State. He said that Sirmour district has witnessed unprecedented development during the tenure of the present BJP Government.
BJP leader from Sri Renuka ji Vidhan Sabha area Balbir Chauhan said that the Sirmaur district has witnessed unprecedented development during the last about four and a half years.
Chairman Central Hatti Samiti Dr. Ami Chand thanked Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for raising the issue of Hatti community for declaring Scheduled Tribes with the Central Government. He said that even the Union Home Minister appreciated the report prepared by the State Government regarding the Hatti community. He said that this has paved the way for declaring Trans Giri area as Scheduled Tribe.
Senior BJP leader from the area Sahi Ram Chauhan, while welcoming the Chief Minister thanked him for sincerely taking up the issue of Hatti Community with the Centre. He said that this would benefit people of over 154 panchayats of the district.
