A get together of serving and retired bureaucrats living and serving in Delhi was organised in Himachal Bhawan at New Delhi today. Principal Resident Commissioner Office organised one of this kind of meet for the first time.
Principal Resident Commissioner S.K. Singla coordinated with IAS, IPS and IFS officers serving in GoI and also the retired officers living in Delhi.
Various issues related to developmental projects of the state were discussed in the meeting. Valuable inputs were received from the officers on the occasion.
Discussions were also held about Swarnim Himachal Celebrations going on in the state and also some functions were being organised by various NGOs of the state working in Delhi with the coordination of PRC office at New Delhi. A painting competition was held recently and a Marathon, Blood donation camp and cultural event will be organised in December and January.
Deputy Resident Commissioner Pankaj Sharma was also present on the occasion.
