Governor Rajendra Nath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
In his message, the Governor said that Ganesh Chaturthi is an important festival of Hindus, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. He said that lord Ganesha is the first god worshiped amongst all deities, who showers immense blessing on everyone. He wished that the blessings of lord Ganesha maintains cordial and affectionate environment and redresses the grief of everyone.
In his message, the Chief Minister said that Lord Ganesha is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and. hoped that the festival would bring peace and happiness in everyone’s lives.
