BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda was accorded rousing welcome on his arrival at Jhandutta in Bilaspur district during his maiden visit to his home district after becoming the National President of BJP, the biggest political party of the world.
While addressing the ‘Abhinandan Samaroh’ held at Jhandutta, National BJP President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda thanked the people of the area for the warm welcome accorded to him and said that this would motivate him to work with greater commitment and dedication for strengthening the party. He said that all this was possible due to the confidence and faith shown by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and other senior BJP Central leadership in him.
National BJP President said that today BJP was the only political party of the country which was governed by ideology and has its presence throughout the country. He said that any small worker like him can become National President of BJP and this was possible only in the BJP. He said that in future also the BJP was poised to emerge even stronger in coming years.
Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India was poised to become a 5 trillion dollar economy. He said that today India has become fifth economic power and by the next few years it would become the top economy. He said that the US President during his visit to India in his twenty eight minute speech has talked about Narendra Modi for nearly twenty minutes.
National BJP President said that it was probably for the first time that US President has travelled 8000 kms all the way to visit India on the request of Prime Minister without visiting any other country on his way. He said that this speaks that India was commanding world over and it was possible due to vibrant and strong leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that even the former Prime Minister of England David Cameron has said that day was not far behind when a Prime Minister of United Kingdom would be of Indian Origin.
Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said that the Nation and the State had been progressing by leaps and bounds as the people had handed over the reins of the Governance to the BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur said that the people of the State were fortunate to have Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda to lead the biggest political party of the world. He said that all this was possible due to the hard work, dedication and commitment of Shri Nadda, besides love and benevolence of the people of the State. He said that today the State has six medical colleges in Government sector and out of these four medical colleges were possible due to Shri Jagat Parkash Nadda. Not only this AIIMS was also coming up in Bilaspur due to efforts of Shri Nadda, he added.
Chief Minister said that the people of the State have given special benevolence to the BJP which was evident from the fact that the BJP won all the four seats of the State in Lok Sabha elections with a record margin. He said that not only this, the BJP candidates won both the assembly seats in the bye elections. He said that the BJP would scale new heights under the dynamic leadership of Shri Jagat Parkash Nadda.
State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the State was fortunate to have a dynamic leader in form of Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur who was always concerned about the developmental needs of the State. He said that today the State has been making unprecedented developments in all spheres of development and has become model for several big states of the country.
Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said that it was a matter of pride and honour for 72 lakh people of the State that Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda was leading the political party that was ruling the biggest democracy of the world.
Local MLA Shri Jeet Ram Katwal while welcoming the National BJP President and Chief Minister said that it was a matter of pride for the people of Jhandutta that a son of the soil was today heading the biggest party of the world. He said that all this was possible due to the hard work and dedication of Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda.
While thanking the Chief Minister for giving special preference to the constituency in matter of development, Shri Jeet Ram Katwal said that two longest bridges of the State were under construction in the constituency. He also detailed various developmental projects being executed in his constituency.
MLAs Shri Rajinder Garg and Shri Subhash Thakur, former Minister Shri Rikhi Ram Kondal, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri Trilok Jamwal, District BJP President Shri Swatantra Sankhyan were present on the occasion among others.
