MLA Bharmour Jia Lal today thanked the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur for pursuing the Ropeway Project for Pangi area for approval with the Centre Government. This ropeway project is a pilot project which was sent by the state government for approval in the month of September this year.
He said that the Chief Minister is ensuring equitable development in the state and in this series, the approval of this project was possible due to the efforts of Chief Minister.
The Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs has approved this 21.4 kilometers ropeway in five stages with an estimated cost of about Rs. 600 crores for Pangi area from Bhanodi to Pregara on Killar side for providing round the year connectivity to the area.
